Banana Oatmeal!

Hey all,

I have recently been addicted to this recipe that I stole from my mom. I changed slightly on the recipe but it turned out so delicious. The scents and flavor just brings back nice memories from my childhood which is very nostalgic to me.


Ingredients: One Serving

1/3 cup of Milk
1/3 cup of Hot Water
1/3 cup of oats + 1 Tsp (if needed)
1/8 tsp of Cinnamon
1/8 tsp of Grounded Cardamom
1 to 2 tsp of Honey
1/3 Banana
3 Goji Berries (for decoration)
1 tsp of Sunflower Seeds (for decoration)

How to Make it:

1. Put your stove on medium heat
2. In a pan pour your milk and hot water, your cinnamon and cardamom then wait for your mixture to bubble a little bit
3. Add half of the amount of your honey and stir then pour in the oats and let it sit so all the liquid mixture is soaked by the oats, if you feel that the mixture is still a bit liquid, then add a tablespoon of oats and stir until combined
4. Taste it and see if you need more sweetness, if yes then add the other half of your honey, cut  your 1/3 banana and add it as well then mix
** If you find that the porridge is too dry add more milk and mix
5. Place it all in a bowl and decorate with Goji berries for color and sunflower seeds for some crunch and Voila.. It's very easy!
